St. Mark’s Care Fund

Welcome to the information site for the ‘St. Mark’s Care Fund’.

The Fund was set up in 2020 to develop the ability of our church to meet urgent needs in the Hills community for material and financial support, especially for needs relating to the COVID-19 pandemic. During 2020 we provided assistance to dozens of local Hills households.

We are now focussing support towards filling the fridges and freezers of those in our community who have lost food due to power outages caused by the recent storms.

We provide financial support for short-term or once-off assistance with basic living expenses. Material support is of food or vouchers for essential items.

The Fund is supported by the donations of St. Mark’s members.

Our Fund is operated under the auspices of the Melbourne Anglican Benevolent Society, which provides tax-deductibility for donations to the Fund.
